Thirty Motofog machines have been presented without precedent for Pakistan by the Prevention and Control Program for Dengue. The Motofog will be utilized as a part of regions where other fumigation vehicles can’t reach because of less space.
The acceptance of the new Motofog machines will be more viable in a city like Karachi since it can go in limited paths. It is said by the Prevention and Control Program for Dengue Program Manager Dr. Masood Solangi. As indicated by him, the cost of a solitary machine is Rs0.2 million. The machine is portable and can treat the regions where chikungunya episode has influenced a large number of subjects, he said. These territories incorporate Khokhrapar, Saudabad, Ibrahim Hyderi, Keamari, New Karachi, Orangi, and Lyari.
